Sunday Services
Our Sunday service meetings times are 10:00am and 6:30pm.
What should I expect?
How long do services last?
A service at St Giles’ typically last around an hour and a quarter. There will be singing, prayer and a message. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen and other things you might need will be on the service sheet you will be given when you arrive.
What should I wear?
Come in whatever makes you feel most at home, whether that’s t-shirt and shorts or suit and boots. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about children?
We have children provision for ages 0-11 at our Sunday Morning Services. A crèche runs from the start of the service in a room just off the main hall. The older children join us for the start of the service before going over to the church centre for their own teaching.
More information about children's work can be found here
Do you share Communion?
Yes, we do have Communion services where we have bread and wine. Normally the morning service incorporates Communion on the second Sunday of the month and the evening service incorporates Communion on the first Sunday of the month. If you don't feel you can take Communion with us for any reason that's fine, but we welcome all who trusts in Jesus to share with us.
